State Profiles

The Public Library Funding & Technology Access survey analyzes data at both the national and state levels. The following pages contain, if available, selected 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 state survey data. Begin by selecting a state below so that you may access selected state summary survey data for libraries in each state (e.g., speed of connectivity, average number of workstations) as well as other state-level resources (e.g., state public libraries and e-government and employment one-page handouts). States for which 2009-2010 survey data could not be fully analyzed are Alabama, California, Michigan and New Hampshire. States for which 2010-2011 survey data could not be fully analyzed are Maine, New Hampshire, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania.
